A gift from my brother

Today is a little off topic, but my brother got me two gifts, the first is a 3DS game etrian odessey 4, and a mushroom cherry sour. I am very happy that I decided to post this on the mobile version instead of glorifying the post on computer.
I will not post pictures of the box of the 3DS games because I usually add them to the shelf. Fire emblem awakening, which I love, I actually only saw the box art twice. Once when I was in the shop, and the latter when i was unboxing.
That is why the mushroom sweets are very cute because they add up to my Mario collection of geekery. I have almost every Mario limited edition thing, and Zelda too. I will not throw away this metal mushroom! He already got me the mushroom 3DS headphones when I just bought Ocarina Of Time 3D, and luckily they all match up with my 3DS colour.

Download evasi0n and iOS 6.1 firmware (if you need!) from the links below

Connect your device to iTunes

Make a backup of your device in iTunes by right clicking on your device name under the ‘Devices’ menu and click ‘Back Up’. Once your backup is complete return to your device.

Put your iPhone/iPad into DFU mode (Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time, After exactly 10 seconds release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button until you iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.)

[This step if you want to upgrade to iOS 6.1] Go back to iTunes, Hold down “Control” (or “Option” on a Mac) and click “Restore.” This will bring up a file browser. Locate the custom IPSW firmware you have already downloaded and click “Open.” iTunes will begin restoring the iPhone using the custom firmware. A progress bar will indicate the progress. Once you are done, exit iTunes.

Open evasi0n and be sure you are still connected via USB cable to your computer.

Click ‘Jailbreak’ and wait…. just be patient and do not disconnect your device… then you will have flashing text (To continue unlock the device and tap the new jailbreak icon, the screen will go black then home screen will return to normal) so simply click on the new icon of jailbreak in the springboard once.. after that jailbreak will continue and device will restart.

Once jailbroken return to iTunes and restore your earlier backup.

Much easier way to Untethered Jailbreak iOS 5.1.1

This jailbreak is compatible with iPhone 4 baseband/ modem firmware 01.59.00 and iPhone 3Gs baseband/ modem firmware 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04 and 06.15.00. See your modem firmware before doing this untethered jailbreak.

Step by step :

1. Download ios 5.0.1.ipsw fron hereor 5.1.1 .ipsw from here

2. Save your .shsh in cydia

3. Download redsn0w from here

Redsnow works:

4. Open it and select Extras

5. Select custom ipsw

6. And open the .ipsw which is downloaded before in your computer

7. It will make NO_BB_iPhone,1_5.1.1_9B206_Restore.ipsw

8. Now select pwned DFU mode

9. Here has some step for DFU mode

10. After managing DFU / black mode, your computer recognize the iPhone

iTunes works:

11. Now open iTunes and select (shift button + restore).

12. Now select NO_BB_iPhone,1_5.1.1_9B206_Restore.ipsw

13. Then iTunes manage to install the ipsw in your iPhone.

14. Now your iPhone will be start in a factory mode.

Redsn0w works:

15. Open redsn0w and select jailbreak

16. Again go to DFU mode and select next, it will work itself in your iPhone

17. Now your phone completely restored by no baseband

Cydia works:

18. Open Cydia from your iPhone and refresh

19. Then search ultrasn0w version 1.2.7 and install

20. After installing it ask to restart.

21. After restarting, again open Cydia

22. search rocy Racoon for ios 5.1.1 and install or search Corona 5.0.1 untether and install

23. Now your iPhone is untethered jailbreak.

Nokia N9

The Nokia N9 is, without doubt, one of the most fascinating phones of the last few years. The tale of its development and launch interweaves almost all the multivariate strands of the Nokia narrative. It is simultaneously the last big hurrah for the Nokia of old and the first showing of what the new Nokia, steered by Stephen Elop, is capable of. Much like the N8 and E7 that came before it, the N9 features an industrial design that sets it apart from the carbon copy smartphone crowd and marks it out as an unmistakeable Nokia product. Unlike its predecessors, however, the N9 shrugs off the aging, touchscreen-antagonistic Symbian operating system and moves to the long-awaited MeeGo Harmattan software.

Not surprisingly for a Nokia phone, reception was trouble-free and calls sounded clear in our tests. We used the N9 on both T-Mobile and AT&T's 3G networks here in San Francisco and HSPA performance matched our expectations, reaching a respectable 6Mbps down and 2Mbps up in some areas. Audio quality is excellent, but the output is quieter than most other handsets when driving some headphones (like our BeyerDynamic DT990 Pro) -- as for the mono speaker, it's merely adequate. Battery life is pretty decent considering the screen size, the amount of RAM and the somewhat average-sized 1,450mAh battery. The N9 ran for about 8+ hours in our rundown test, which involves playing a video in a loop. Our usage test, which simulates a light day's use, yielded an impressive 37+ hours. As such, most people will be able to enjoy this device for an entire day on a full charge.

Nokia 808 PureView

The Nokia808 PureView is nothing but a “innovation flagship”. There is no better explanation or a title for it. While Nokia was busy moving away from all their legacy onto Windows Phone, they felt they needed to showcase their innovation quickly, quick enough to salvage some pride as the cash reserve and the stock prices were tumbling for the worse. Exactly an year after announcing that they are moving away from the legacy, especially Symbian, they showed the world, the last true Symbian flagship device, the Nokia 808 PureView. Let’s quickly look at the highlights of this device -

As you can see above, there is not much going for the Nokia 808 PureView besides its camera prowess. But the camera is what Nokia wanted to show and that’s why we are talking about it. The camera is undoubtedly the best smartphone camera you can ever find, and it bests every other cameraphone out there. It even rivals various point and shoot cameras and puts them to shame. Such is the power of the Nokia 808 PureView and it was definitely a market disruption, much like the Galaxy Note. Not a single smartphone has come close to its image quality till now, and the video and audio departments are no less impressive.

We've been eager to gets our hands on an 808 since the phone was announced and a loan sample finally arrived in our Seattle office recently. We've been using it ever since. Please note though that this article doesn't touch on the 808 PureView'sperformance as a phone. That's not what interests us. We want to see what it's like as a camera...
