NOTE: While YouTube does not have parental controls, it does allow you to block some content. This can be done by launching the app, tapping the 3 blocks in the top right corner, then selecting the Settings option. Under Settings, choose the Search option and tap the Safe Search Filtering option. Choose the Strict option to block videos containing restricted content from being shown in search results.
